Full-scale welding in one of IFKAN's climate chambers

ENVIRONMENTAL TEST CHAMBER FACILITY

February 14 2019: IFKAN has now been active in its new facility just outside Lund for just a little more than a month and we can say that everything has worked beyond expectations, considering that the company has both moved and expanded at the same time.

We have now, among other things, completed the installation of our new environmental test chamber facility. IFKAN possess both unique equipment as well as expertise in performing test chamber studies. The facility is equipped with a wide range of different test chambers ranging in sizes from a couple of liters to a full scale 20 cubic meters (m3) chamber.

Climate-controlled studies can be performed in the range of -25°C - 50°C at different humidity levels. In addition to the climate chambers, the facility is equipped with air monitoring equipment such as direct reading mass spectrometers (PTR-MS) for VOC measurements, various other air sampling equipments, particle instrumentation, etc.

This opens up very wide possibilities. Our facilities can be used for a wide range of purposes, for everything from testing of consumer products to research studies in both humans and different materials, as well as the environment, where controlled atmospheric conditions are of the utmost importance.
